Hi, I am Birgitte
Welcome to Studio and Gallery Merkbar! Merkbar means perceptible or noticable in German and Danish and this is what I always strive for in my work. I am interested in feelings, atmosphere, drama, texture, movement and color in my photography. One of my favorit methods of working is by using manual lenses, selective focus and blur. Another is using Photoshop to merge photos, create collages and work on conceptual or painterly projects. Portraiture gives me the opportunity to connect with lots of people and I really enjoy working and creating something special . I also create artworks which I sell in my online gallery Merkbar.
